About the plant

Anamu is a deeply rooted herbaceous perennial shrub growing up to 1 m (3.3 ft) in height and has small greenish piccate flowers. The roots and leaves have a strong acrid, garlic-like odor which taints the milk and meat of animals that graze on it. It is known by a wide number of common names including: Guinea Henweed, Tipi, Apacin, Mucura, Guine, Feuilles ave, Herbe aux poules, Petevere a odeur ail, Mapurite and Gully root.

Tincture: Petiveria alliacea dried herb, organic sugar-cane alcohol, distilled water, vegetable glycerin USP.
Glycerite: Petiveria alliacea dried herb, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Adults take up to 20 drops (1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 3–4 fl oz of juice or water, up to 3 times a day.

Warnings

Animal studies on blood sugar are mixed and human data are lacking. If you take diabetes medication or blood thinners, or have surgery planned, tell your doctor before use.
