A single-herb liquid extract of dried seeds of Coriandrum sativum, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Coriander seed and coriander leaf taste nothing alike, which surprises people who assume one is a dried version of the other. The seed is the ripe fruit: two mericarps fused into a light hollow ball, ridged, straw-coloured, and warm, sweet and citrus-scented, with none of the sharp green pungency of the leaf. It is one of the oldest spices in the archaeological record, found in Bronze Age Levantine sites and in Tutankhamun's tomb.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Warnings

People with a birch or mugwort pollen allergy may react to coriander. It may lower blood sugar and blood pressure.
