Garlic can enlarge the speed of fission of some medication for HIV/AIDS such as nevirapine (Viramune), delavirdine (Rescriptor), and efavirenz (Sustiva). Contemporaneous taking of garlic and listed medications can lessen the efficacy of the medications used for HIV/AIDS.
