A single-herb liquid extract of dried herb of Thymus × citriodorus, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Lemon thyme is a hybrid, a cross between common thyme and a wild creeping thyme, and it inherits the woody low habit of one and a distinct lemon note that neither parent has on its own. Its leaves are small, glossy and often variegated with gold or cream at the margin. Being a hybrid it does not come reliably true from seed and is grown from cuttings.

Glycerite: Thymus × citriodorus dried herb, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Warnings

Not for use in pregnancy. Concentrated thyme preparations can irritate the gut lining; take it well diluted.
