A single-herb liquid extract of dried leaves of Aloysia citriodora, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Lemon verbena is a leggy deciduous shrub from Argentina and Chile, brought to Europe by Spanish botanists in the eighteenth century. Its narrow pointed leaves are carried in whorls of three or four and are rough to the touch, and their scent is the cleanest and most intensely lemon of any herb — sharper and less sweet than lemon balm, with none of the grassy note of lemongrass. It holds that scent unusually well on drying, which is why it became the classic French verveine tisane.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
