A single-herb liquid extract of dried amber resin, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Amber is not a plant material at all but the fossilised resin of conifers that grew around the Baltic some forty to fifty million years ago. The trees are gone; what survived is the resin they bled, buried, compressed and slowly polymerised into a hard translucent solid that ranges from pale straw to deep cognac and sometimes holds an insect that was caught in it before the last of the dinosaurs. It was traded south from the Baltic coast to the Mediterranean along a route so old and so well established that it has a name of its own, the Amber Road. Warmed or worked, it gives off a faint resinous, piny smell.

Tincture: the herb named above dried amber resin, organic sugar-cane alcohol, distilled water, vegetable glycerin USP.
Glycerite: the herb named above dried amber resin, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
