A single-herb liquid extract of dried seeds of Cucurbita pepo L., cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Pumpkin was domesticated in Mexico around eight thousand years ago, which makes it one of the oldest crops in the Americas, older than maize. The seeds are flat, pointed and pale, wrapped in a tough white husk — except in the hull-less varieties, which were selected in Styria in the nineteenth century after a spontaneous mutation produced seeds with only a thin green skin, and which are the dark green pepitas sold today.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Do not use if you are allergic to pumpkin or other cucurbits.
