A single-herb liquid extract of dried seed of Citrus reticulata, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

The mandarin is one of the three plants that nearly all citrus descends from — with the pomelo and the citron — and the sweet orange, lemon, lime and grapefruit are all hybrids ultimately traceable to those three. It is a small thorny tree with narrow leaves, and its fruit has the loose netted peel the species name refers to: reticulata, reticulated, the rind that zips off in one piece. This extract is made from the seeds, the flat pale pips inside the segments, which are markedly bitter.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Keep out of reach of children. Not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
