A single-herb liquid extract of dried berry of Malpighia glabra, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Acerola is a shrubby tree of the Caribbean, Central America and northern South America carrying small bright red fruits that look like cherries but are three-lobed and much softer, with three ridged stones inside. They are famously perishable: a ripe acerola begins to break down within hours of picking, which is why the fruit is almost never seen fresh outside the places it grows and is nearly always pressed or dried on the spot. It is among the richest known fruit sources of vitamin C.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
