A single-herb liquid extract of dried mushroom of Trametes versicolor, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Turkey tail is probably the most widely distributed mushroom on earth, growing in overlapping tiers of thin flexible fans on dead hardwood on every continent but Antarctica. The upper surface is banded in concentric zones of brown, tan, blue-grey, rust and cream, velvety to the touch, and no two brackets are quite alike — versicolor, many-coloured. The way to be certain of it is to turn one over: the underside must be white and finely pored. The common look-alikes are smooth underneath.

Glycerite: Trametes versicolor dried mushroom, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Not for use by anyone taking immunosuppressants. People with a mould allergy may react to mushroom extracts.
