A single-herb liquid extract of dried herb of Radula marginata, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

This is a liverwort, not a flowering plant — a member of one of the oldest lineages of land plants, with no roots, no flowers and no vascular tissue at all. It creeps over damp rock, rotting logs and tree bark in New Zealand forest as overlapping flat green scales, more like a film across the surface than a plant standing on it, and it takes up water over its whole body because it has nothing to draw water up with. The Maori name is wairuakohu. Note that it shares the English name liverwort with several unrelated European plants — Hepatica and Marchantia among them — which are different things entirely.

Glycerite: Radula marginata dried herb, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Do not use before driving or operating machinery, and do not combine with alcohol or sedatives. Not for use in pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
