What's in it

Ashwagandha is the root of Withania somnifera, an Indian nightshade whose Sanskrit name refers to its barnyard smell. Burdock is the root or leaf of Arctium lappa, the biennial whose hooked burs inspired Velcro. Licorice is the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra, naturally sweet from glycyrrhizin. Stinging Nettle is the leaf of Urtica dioica, cut before flowering; the sting is gone once it is dried.

Each herb is extracted on its own and the extracts are then combined, so the proportions are the same in every bottle. Most of these are also listed separately if you would rather buy them one at a time.

Tincture: Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Dry Root, Burdock (Arctium lappa) Dry Root, Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) Dry Root, Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) Dry Leaf, organic sugar-cane alcohol, distilled water, vegetable glycerin USP.
Glycerite: Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Dry Root, Burdock (Arctium lappa) Dry Root, Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) Dry Root, Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) Dry Leaf, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
