What's in it

Milk Thistle is the seed of Silybum marianum, a Mediterranean thistle with white-marbled leaves. Schisandra is the berry of Schisandra chinensis, called five-flavour fruit because it is sweet, sour, salty, bitter and pungent at once. Turmeric is the rhizome of Curcuma longa, boiled and dried, the colour of a wet brick. Yellow Dock is the root of Rumex crispus, a common dock of waste ground. Dandelion is the leaf of Taraxacum officinale, bitter and sharp, cut young. Oregon Grape is the root of Berberis aquifolium, a holly-leaved shrub of the Pacific Northwest.

Each herb is extracted on its own and the extracts are then combined, so the proportions are the same in every bottle. Most of these are also listed separately if you would rather buy them one at a time.

Ingredients

Tincture: ethically wildcrafted or sustainably sourced and Wild harvested Milk Thistle, Schisandra, Turmeric, Yellow Dock, Dandelion, Oregon Grape Root, organic sugar-cane alcohol, distilled water, vegetable glycerin USP.
Glycerite: ethically wildcrafted or sustainably sourced and Wild harvested Milk Thistle, Schisandra, Turmeric, Yellow Dock, Dandelion, Oregon Grape Root, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you are taking any medication, have a medical condition, or are scheduled for surgery, consult a healthcare practitioner before use. Discontinue use if an adverse reaction occurs. Do not use if the tamper seal is broken or missing. Store tightly capped in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
