A single-herb liquid extract of dried plant material of Pinus sylvestris, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Pine pollen is collected from the male cones, the small soft yellowish clusters at the base of new shoots that appear for a week or two in late spring and then wither. The window is short: the cones have to be picked just before they open, dried, and shaken through a fine screen. Scots pine sheds it in such quantity that in a pine district the pollen drifts on puddles and coats cars in yellow, and the grains have two air bladders that let them travel a long way on the wind.

Glycerite: Pinus sylvestris, vegetable glycerin USP, distilled water.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Warnings

Not for use by anyone allergic to pine or conifer pollen. Pine pollen contains plant sterols; not for use in pregnancy, by anyone under 18, or by anyone with a hormone-sensitive condition.

Keep out of reach of children. Not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
