A single-herb liquid extract of dried bark of Pinus strobus, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Eastern white pine is the tallest tree in eastern North America, and the only pine there with five needles to a bundle — a field mark you can check in a second, since W-H-I-T-E also has five letters. Its cones are long, slim and curved, and the mature bark breaks into broad grey plates. Trees of this species supplied the masts of the Royal Navy, and the broad-arrow policy that marked the best of them as Crown property was one of the standing grievances of colonial New England. This extract is made from the bark, which is resinous and faintly sweet.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
